“St. Luke 2:7–14,”
And she brought forth her first-born son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.
And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.
And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.
And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
And this shall be a sign into you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.
Let's all remember that Jesus Christ is the true reason for Christmas. His birth was his gift of life to us. Through his birth he lived for us and then died for us and he still lives for us today. Let's remember our beloved brother and Savior Jesus Christ always in our hearts and our have him in the center of our lives. Without him there would be no atonement and we would not be here. We are truly in debt to the wonderful sacrifice and life he left as an example in our lives.

I'm thankful for...............
In Relief Society we had a great lesson on finding Joy and Happiness in our lives Here is a great talk by our prophet Thomas S. Monson. I just put bits and pieces that I liked in this.
Day by day, minute by minute, second by second we went from where we were to where we are now. The lives of all of us, of course, go through similar alterations and changes. The difference between the changes in my life and the changes in yours is only in the details. Time never stands still; it must steadily march on, and with the marching come the changes.
This is our one and only chance at mortal life—here and now. The longer we live, the greater is our realization that it is brief. Opportunities come, and then they are gone. I believe that among the greatest lessons we are to learn in this short sojourn upon the earth are lessons that help us distinguish between what is important and what is not. I plead with you not to let those most important things pass you by as you plan for that illusive and nonexistent future when you will have time to do all that you want to do. Instead, find joy in the journey—now.
“You pile up enough tomorrows, and you’ll find you’ve collected a lot of empty yesterdays"
There is no tomorrow to remember if we don’t do something today.Rather than dwelling on the past, we should make the most of today, of the here and now, doing all we can to provide pleasant memories for the future.
If you are still in the process of raising children, be aware that the tiny fingerprints that show up on almost every newly cleaned surface, the toys scattered about the house, the piles and piles of laundry to be tackled will disappear all too soon and that you will—to your surprise—miss them profoundly.
Stresses in our lives come regardless of our circumstances. We must deal with them the best we can. But we should not let them get in the way of what is most important—and what is most important almost always involves the people around us. Often we assume that they must know how much we love them. But we should never assume; we should let them know. Wrote William Shakespeare, “They do not love that do not show their love.”3 We will never regret the kind words spoken or the affection shown. Rather, our regrets will come if such things are omitted from our relationships with those who mean the most to us.
Send that note to the friend you’ve been neglecting; give your child a hug; give your parents a hug; say “I love you” more; always express your thanks. Never let a problem to be solved become more important than a person to be loved. Friends move away, children grow up, loved ones pass on. It’s so easy to take others for granted, until that day when they’re gone from our lives and we are left with feelings of “what if” and “if only.” Said author Harriet Beecher Stowe, “The bitterest tears shed over graves are for words left unsaid and deeds left undone.”4
“These things are important: temple marriage, mission, college. Press on, set goals, write history, take pictures twice a year.”5
Let us relish life as we live it, find joy in the journey, and share our love with friends and family. One day each of us will run out of tomorrows.
“Do … human beings ever realize life while they live it—every, every minute?”
Our realization of what is most important in life goes hand in hand with gratitude for our blessings.
Said one well-known author: “Both abundance and lack [of abundance] exist simultaneously in our lives, as parallel realities. It is always our conscious choice which secret garden we will tend … when we choose not to focus on what is missing from our lives but are grateful for the abundance that’s present—love, health, family, friends, work, the joys of nature, and personal pursuits that bring us [happiness]—the wasteland of illusion falls away and we experience heaven on earth.”6
“Whatever hour God has blessed you with, take it with grateful hand, nor postpone your joys from year to year, so that in whatever place you have been, you may say that you have lived happily.”
Despite the changes which come into our lives and with gratitude in our hearts, may we fill our days—as much as we can—with those things which matter most. May we cherish those we hold dear and express our love to them in word and in deed.
In closing, I pray that all of us will reflect gratitude for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. His glorious gospel provides answers to life’s greatest questions: Where did we come from? Why are we here? Where does my spirit go when I die?
He taught us how to pray. He taught us how to serve. He taught us how to live. His life is a legacy of love. The sick He healed; the downtrodden He lifted; the sinner He saved.
I am thankful for my mother who has taught me everything that I am today. She taught me my values and beliefs. She taught me to cook, clean, and take care of children. She taught me that you can get through trials and there is a better tomorrow. I love her. I am thankful for Jake and the love he shows me. He is such a hard worker and a worthy priesthood holder. I am thankful that he can see all the good in me, especially when I can't. He truly is my greatest friend and only love. I am thankful to be sealed to him and my children. I'm thankful for Shyann and Saydee who inspire me everyday. I love to watch them grow and learn. Every moment truly is a treasure. I am so thankful for Jake's family. Amy is like a sister to me, I love all of her ideas and styles. She got me interested in Hello Kitty and making bows. Jean you are like a father to me. Mine died 10 years ago and I just love how much you seem to care for me. Spring, thanks for all of those delicious recipes and for taking the time to see how we all feel. You truly are a great mother. Mandy, Jason, Chris,Tammy, Holly, Chad, Jon, and Ben. Thanks for being so close to me and talking to me. You make me feel like family. I'm thankful for my siblings and family. Charity, I love you different goal and your desire to make life the fullest even if everything doesn't seem to be right. Brandon, you are so wonderful for my sister. Take care of her. Ben and Ryan, I love to watch you grow and see you wonderful personalities evolve into something truly worth bringing in to the future. Tony, thanks for being a companion to my mother and a father to me when I had none. I'm thankful for sunshine, nature, snow, oceans. laughter, innocence, faith, hope, Jesus Christ, books, shelter, food, rain, flowers, coats, mittens, school, computers, phones, temples, the gospel, to be a missionary, heavenly father, prayers, trees, animals, trials and disappointments, weaknesses, strengths, family, toys, art, good media, prophets, leaders, teachers, warmth, a bed, the list goes on and on...........

Saydee 3 1/2 months old
Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow,
Do we really know if we will wake up the next day? We have hope that we will. My husband told me a prophet prophesied that one day the constitution will be hanging by a thread and I believe that the time is now. It will be saved someday, but that is not today. Let's all hope Barak Obama does his job and that our country can stay together.Because if we don't how will we look to a generation of tomorrow? What will they have to stand up for? We want something to be proud of in our county. We need to all work together and serve one another and try to be a peaceful and happy people. Look at today and see what you can do to be a better person, friend, daughter, brother, father, mother, son, worker, ...... See who you can help and see how you can make a change for the better. We can all be closer to our families, we can all be better be prepared for anything that could come tomorrow and today is the day to prepare for tomorrow. Don't procrastinate. I have this quote I got from young womens that says " Procrastination is telling the Lord that I'm not interested today." Do we want to be seen that way or do we want to feel like this quote, that I also got in young women's, that says " I want to live my life in such a way, that when I wake up Satan will see me and say "Oh no she's awake." I think we all want to do our best and be as righteous as we can, so let's do it.

Sleep
At first Saydee and Shyann would take their afternoon naps together, but now Shyann will sleep and Saydee will stay awake and vice versa. I don't get anytime to myself. I just want a little. At night sometimes Shyann will wake up as many times as Saydee or even more and she is more noisy about it too. Saydee will usually sleep nine hours straight. Shyann is always wanting to come up on our bed in the middle of the night. I'm like this is not going to happen especially since she flops all over the place. She is one girl that never hold stills for a second. Sweet Dreams......

Everyone I love
My husband deserves alot of credit for everything he does. HE is out working full time everyday and sometimes will have night school. The kids and I don't get to see him as often as we would like. We love to see him. He is hardworking, genorous, loving, kind, and handsome, although he says he is not.
My girls continue to grow. Shyann is two now and can say so many words. She walks , runs, and jumps all over the place. I love to watch Saydee grow because I can see all the steps over again. Right now she is perfecting her smile on her beautiful face. Both of my kids are so beautiful and I enjoy watching them everyday and I am happy that I have the oppurtunity to.
I love my mother and brothers also. MY brother are teenagers now and that is crazy to me. MY mom is a hard worker and is a great friend and mother. She has taught me many things that I will always treasure. I am glad that we are so close.
All my extended family I really love and am well connected to. I love my husbands family and I love my grandparents. I don't really know aunts and uncles as well as I should, but I do love them.

Some days are not good
Today was a bad day for me. I went to the library with my two girls and I was leaving to go back to my car and I went into an elevator and I was going to push the level I needed to get to and I saw someone was trying to get on so I moved and then I moved back because I forgot to push the button for the level I wanted and the guy said "I'll just walk." I saw him again as I exited the elevator and told him I was sorry if I got in his way and that I was just trying to push the right level on the elevator. He said "I know what you were doing, you weren't thinking." I just burst ionto tears as he walked away. Some people don't think about what they say and they can hurt peolple so easily. He saw I had two kids and he could of made the situation better for me. Just remember you never know how what you say will affect another person. Also I went to a mom's group in my ward and we were going on a walk. I had to go slower to to stay with Shyann, because she likes to walk around and none of the mothers wanted to stay by me and walk. They were all ahead of me and I didn't get to talk to anyone. That's the main point I go to the mother's group is to talk with other mother's but I may not go as often now. It's changed alot since the mother's who started it all left. they were my good friends. I just don't like it as much anymore. Oh well, I have other friends with kids as well.

Shyann can do many things now that she is going to be two October 3. Time goes by fast. She was only a little baby it seemed like yesterday. Now she is so independent and strong. I love her. Saydee is ten weeks old and she can smile now. She is so cute. I can't wait to look at all the steps like sitting up and craeling again. Shyann can do everything now. Running. jumping, somersaults. I just don't want them to grow too fast. Children are so innocent, and it would be nice to see them like that forever. I love my two girls and I love to watch them grow and discover new things. Shyann loves Dora the Explorer and The Disney Princesses and witches. Her personality is unique and I am glad to watch her learn.
